Ice architecture, treetop rooms and Europe’s last great wilderness — the most design-literate Arctic there is.
Swedish Lapland does something the rest of the Arctic does not: it treats architecture as part of the experience. ICEHOTEL is rebuilt each winter from Torne river ice, and the Treehotel near Harads commissions individual rooms from leading Scandinavian architects.
Behind the design story is real wilderness. Sarek and Padjelanta national parks form one of the largest roadless areas in Europe, and Abisko’s rain-shadow position gives it some of the most reliable clear-sky aurora conditions on the continent.

ICEHOTEL suites, architect-designed treetop rooms and remote riverside lodges — Sweden’s strongest design portfolio.

Multi-day husky journeys, Sámi hosts in Jokkmokk, ice sculpting on the Torne and aurora nights at Abisko.

Reindeer, cloudberry and river fish handled with the precision Swedish kitchens are known for.
Domestic flights from Stockholm, or the overnight train north — still one of the better rail journeys in Europe.

ICEHOTEL opens, the snow deepens and the light stays blue all day. Coldest and quietest.
The strongest window — deep snow, long usable days, full activity programme and the ice hotel at its best.
Continuous daylight for high-country hiking, then autumn colour and the return of dark skies in September.
Starting points, not packages. Every programme is rebuilt around the client in front of you.
A night in an ICEHOTEL art suite and two in a treetop room, with husky and aurora days between.

A capital built across fourteen islands, opening into an archipelago of thirty thousand more.

The Arctic heart of our operation — aurora nights, husky trails, reindeer herding country and the properties we know best.

Peaks straight out of the sea, white-sand Arctic beaches and red fishing cabins. The most requested destination in Norway after the fjords, and the one where beds, not demand, are the limit.
