Not the one-hour taster. A multi-day wilderness journey — your own team, a wilderness cabin overnight and the Arctic as it looks when there are no other sleds on the trail.
The single-day husky experience is well known. What most travellers remember is the multi-day version — your own team, learning to drive, overnighting at a wilderness cabin and waking to a landscape that belongs entirely to you for those hours.
We design two to four-day expeditions across Finnish and Swedish Lapland, Arctic Norway and Greenland, with experienced mushers who give real instruction, not a guided trot. The dog handling is genuinely taught, and every night is spent at a proper cabin or lodge — never a tent.
Sled driving requires balance and some upper-body effort. Most fit adults manage well. We discuss client fitness beforehand.
Children from around 8 can ride in the sled; driving from around 14 with a guide alongside.
We operate these for 2–6 people maximum — larger groups split into separate teams and lose the wilderness feel.
