Why a boat here

The Stockholm and Turku archipelagos have tens of thousands of islands. The western Norwegian fjords run a hundred kilometres inland with steep walls on both sides. You see very little of either from a car.

What you can get: crewed sailing and motor boats of moderate size, expedition boats built for cold water, and day charter from almost any harbour. What you cannot get is a Mediterranean-style fleet. Berth size, water depth and crew availability all set limits, so check them before showing a client a photograph.

What we arrange

Crewed sailing yachts

Skipper and usually a cook on board, for two nights or more in the archipelago. The best option in Swedish and Finnish waters.

Motor and expedition vessels

Cold-water and ice-capable boats for northern Norway and Greenland. Hull class matters more than the interior on these.

Fjord and archipelago day charter

A boat to yourselves for the day. Usually the best value private element in a coastal trip.

RIB and tender transfers

Fast open-boat transfers between islands, lodges and a larger vessel. Cold and wet in poor weather.

Limits we state up front

The season is short. Crewed charter runs roughly May to September. Outside that, ice, darkness and crew availability shut it down.
Crewed boats in July and August are usually booked a year ahead. Late requests get whatever is left, which may not be the boat in the brochure.
The skipper decides the route. Wind and sea change it, so tell the client the itinerary is a guide when you sell it, not when they arrive at the dock.
Deep-hulled boats cannot get into many of the best harbours. Greenland and Svalbard also require ice class and permits.
