Sarek national park holds nearly a hundred glaciers and six of Sweden’s thirteen peaks above two thousand metres, with no roads, no marked routes and no mountain huts inside its boundary. Combined with neighbouring Padjelanta and Stora Sjöfallet it forms one of the largest protected wildernesses in Europe.
This is not a soft-adventure destination and we do not present it as one. Programmes here are guided, carry their own shelter, and are planned around river crossings and weather. For the right client it is the most serious wilderness we can offer in Scandinavia.
